It is the policy of the Colbert County Board of Education to provide equal educational opportunities for all students on a non-discriminatory basis. No student shall be denied the benefits of any educational program or activity on the basis of race, color, creed national origin, gender, immigrant or language speaking status. All programs offered by schools within the Colbert County School system shall be open to all students in accordance with all applicable statutory and judicial requirements. Admission of students to special educational programs or activities shall be based on appropriate legal and policy criteria.
